Yesterday, the RoboDawgs successfully recovered the last of three capsules they had launched into the upper atmosphere as part of their first Race to Space. Three RoboDawg teams launched payloads attached to 1200g weather balloons, carrying GPS trackers and cameras aloft to over 125,000ft. The three capsules, all launched at the same same, returned to Earth in very different places. Team Alpha recovered their payload in Marshall, MI. Team Omega’s capsule parachuted back to the ground in northern Ohio. Team Beta’s payload, taking a fairly unusual course, landed in New Liberty, Iowa.
