RoboDawgs launch another high altitude balloon in search of gamma radiation

The Grandville High School RoboDawgs launched another high altitude balloon this morning in a continuation of their effort to capture gamma radiation on film. The balloon spent nearly four hours aloft, and it was recovered for the team by the very helpful employees at Friedland Industries in Lansing, Michigan. This landing is the closest the team has come to parachuting a payload into a body of water- note the location of the Grand River in the photo below.
