The RoboDawgs recently took several of Grandville’s VEX teams to the Halloween VEX Tournament held at the Grand Traverse Academy on October 31.  It was the first tournament for all our teams, but we had a strong first showing.  RoboDawg team 244A earned the event’s top award, the Excellence Award, and qualified to move on to the State VEX Championship next February. .A Grandville team was also part of the winning alliance, and that win qualified RoboDawg team 244D for the State VEX Championship.  RoboDawg team 288A was given the Design Award, recognizing an outstanding robot resulting from a well-documented design process.

Congratulations to RoboDawg teams 244A (Amanda Bowerman, Thomas Bos, and Taylor Burns), 244D  (Kyle Hiller, Nehal Patel, and Anneke Howerzyl), and 244D (Lucas Buck, Jarod Parks, and Elisa LaBarge).
