The RoboDawgs put up their first high-altitude flight of the new school year in late September.  A bright, sunny day provided the backdrop for testing of new tracking hardware.  Success!  We are now able to track our balloons up to at least 150,000ft – a significant improvement from the commercial GPS trackers we had been using that supress their signals above around 60,000ft.  An excellent first flight – and we’ve proved the new radio tracker and flight computer!
